Information Technology Overview
At Cornerstone, we continually find new ways of using technology
to ensure that our market leaders and associates have the tools they require to
anticipate and respond to our clients’ needs. The focus of our technology strategy
includes access, mobility and support, all with a Web-based design.
Our Knowledge Management Strategy
We use technology as one aspect of a broader knowledge management strategy
at Cornerstone. To deliver business and financial services in a connected world,
our market leaders must have access to the firm’s collective corporate knowledge
anywhere and any time. All members of the firm have access to notebook computers,
and many of them carry personal digital assistants (PDAs) and other wireless devices.
It is common for our staff to access the firm’s network remotely through high-speed
DSL connections and cable modems; our highly trained information technology team
installs, supports and secures the necessary equipment.
Reporting management
We developed and continually work to enhance our reporting technology to
fit both our firm's and our client’s needs. Our report management software allows
us to create custom reports that aggregates data from multiple sources supplying
our clients with detailed financial information in an easy to read format.
Document management
Cornerstone’s vast experience in handling large document issues delivers
value to our clients. With our systems for document collection and analysis, our
staff can control, organize, access and share critical documents throughout our
firm. This capability also enables us to electronically organize all relevant plan
documents for easy retrieval by our clients and/or their advisors, with the clients’
permission.
Security management
Your personal security is the top function of our IT team. Using top technologies
from companies like Microsoft, Cisco and Symantec, we dedicate the time and resources
to ensure an impervious system continually testing, analyzing and enhancing our
security protocols to guarantee the safety of your personal information.
